Fighting Those Spam Bastards

So, after a difficult battle with SPAM, I finally stand victorious. With Wonko's help, I have changed my blog to only allow comments which have passed a small security test. Basically a randomly generated number is displayed as an image. The commenter must then correctly type that number before my blog will accept their comment. I've been 3 days now with no spam.

(War Cry to follow) Victory!!!! Victory!!!

If you're having similar problems with Spam Bastards, you can download the handy plugin here.

Interesting idea. I shall have to look into that.

Very funktastic indeed...

The link seems dead. Or at least leads to where there use to be something.

Link is fixed

Is there a handy implementation guide anywhere?

I believe it's inside the file you download.
