At about 12:30 AM I heard an army of fire trucks near my apartment followed by the sound of a helicopter hovering over my complex. My neighbor knocked on my door and alerted me to the fire that was burning down an apartment located on the opposite side of our parking lot. I was able to capture a few pictures of the fire before the smoke became so bad that we were escorted back to our apartments. It appeared that the fire started somewhere near the attic and spread rapidly through the entire building. At this time it is unclear whether or not anyone was hurt. The fire department seemed to have responded quickly and it looks like everyone escaped the fire.
